I’m so relieved the midterms brought more politicians willing to stand up and dismantle the current leadership’s destructive actions and policies. I’m also sad that many anti-trans measures drew public support.

As a nation we still need to listen more, be less afraid of new perspectives, and stand up for those who’ve had to stand up for themselves for decades with no help.
